Nvidia and Hyundai Deepen Robotics Alliance; Nebius Commits £1.7 Billion UK GPU Buildout
NVDA•Nvidia and Hyundai expanded their existing partnership to develop industrial-scale humanoid robots, tapping Hyundai’s manufacturing prowess and South Korea’s 9 trillion won ‘AI Valley’ initiative under Nvidia’s Blackwell infrastructure. Amsterdam-based Nebius pledged £1.7 billion for four UK deployments of Nvidia GPU systems, adding 65 MW of AI compute capacity by 2027.
1. Deepening Nvidia-Hyundai Robotics Collaboration
Nvidia and Hyundai outlined plans to move humanoid robots from laboratory prototypes to factory floors, leveraging Hyundai’s large-scale manufacturing capabilities. The two companies will build on last year’s AI factory powered by Nvidia Blackwell infrastructure and explore integration into South Korea’s 9 trillion won AI Valley project, including a potential joint data hub to support mobility, manufacturing and next-gen chip development.
2. Nebius’ £1.7 Billion UK GPU Infrastructure Buildout
Amsterdam-based AI infrastructure provider Nebius is investing £1.7 billion to deploy Nvidia GPU systems across four UK sites, expanding its footprint to 65 MW of compute when fully ramped in 2027. The buildout uses Nvidia’s Blackwell Ultra platform to serve British enterprises, research institutions and public services, with early customers such as Revolut already running production AI workloads on the new infrastructure.
