Nvidia Unveils Halos Safety Platform to Tap $200B Robotics Market

Agility Robotics has adopted Halos in its Digit humanoid at Toyota Motor’s Canadian facility as Nvidia eyes a $200 billion humanoid robotics market by 2035.
1. Nvidia Launches Halos for Robotics
Nvidia unveiled Halos for Robotics, a full-stack safety platform running on its IGX Thor hardware. The system combines AI compute, software, sensor data integration and inspection tools to enable real-time human detection and physical AI safety in industrial robots.
2. Agility Adopts Halos in Digit Deployment
Humanoid robotics firm Agility Robotics has integrated Halos into its Digit robot for logistics and manufacturing tasks at Toyota Motor’s Canadian facility, demonstrating the platform’s ability to operate alongside human workers in complex environments.
3. Establishment of ANAB-Accredited Safety Lab
Nvidia also launched its Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab, the industry’s first ANAB-accredited program for functional and AI safety in robotics, providing partners with standardized testing and certification preparation.
4. Targeting a $200B Market by 2035
With Barclays projecting the humanoid robotics market could reach $200 billion by 2035, Nvidia aims to expand beyond data-center chips into robotics, positioning Halos as a cornerstone for its physical AI growth strategy.
