Nvidia Powers Munich Robotaxis and Unveils N1X PC Chips with 128GB RAM
NVDA•Uber and Autobrains will launch a robotaxi service in Munich using Nvidia’s Drive Hyperion platform, targeting OEM-agnostic autonomous operations pending approvals. At Computex, Nvidia revealed its N1X PC processor and RTX Spark SoC with 128GB unified memory and confirmed full production ramp of its Vera Rubin AI data center chips.
1. Munich Robotaxi Partnership
Uber and Autobrains plan to deploy a robotaxi fleet in Munich using Nvidia’s Drive Hyperion platform. The programme is designed as an OEM-agnostic model to scale beyond pilot projects across multiple vehicle platforms, with operations pending local regulatory approval.
2. N1X PC Processor Unveiling
At Computex, Nvidia introduced the N1X PC processor co-developed with Microsoft, featuring an Arm-based CPU paired with a Blackwell GPU and 128GB of unified memory. The processor, integrated into the new RTX Spark SoC, will debut in fall laptops from Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, MSI and Microsoft’s Surface line.
3. Vera Rubin Production Ramp
Nvidia confirmed that its next-generation Vera Rubin AI chips for data centers have entered full production. First systems are slated for fall delivery, with early adopters including Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceX’s xAI, Dell, Oracle and CoreWeave.
