Nvidia Reports $81.6B Q1 Revenue and Powers Four Space Data Center Tests
NVDA•Nvidia reported Q1 revenue of $81.6 billion, marking 85% year-over-year growth driven by surging AI chip demand. Its Inception program partner Lonestar Data has launched four test data center payloads—two to the ISS and two to the lunar surface—leveraging Nvidia AI chips for space-based computing.

In the first quarter, Nvidia generated $81.6 billion in revenue, an 85% increase year-over-year driven by robust AI chip sales to hyperscale data centers and enterprise customers, which also supported expanded operating margins.
2. Space-Based Data Center Tests
Through its Inception program, Nvidia-backed Lonestar Data has launched four modular computing payloads—two to the International Space Station and two to the lunar surface—using optical lasers and radio frequencies for synchronized satellite operations aimed at cutting cooling and energy costs in orbit.
