Nvidia Secures Multiyear Meta AI Deal, Sells Remaining $140M Arm Stake

NVDANVDA

Nvidia secured a multiyear strategic partnership with Meta to deploy its full-stack platform—including Grace and Vera CPUs, Blackwell and Rubin GPUs, and Spectrum-X networking—into hyperscale data centers for AI training and inference. Nvidia exited its remaining Arm stake by selling 1.1 million shares worth $140 million to streamline investments.

1. Multiyear Strategic Partnership with Meta

Nvidia and Meta have agreed a multiyear, multigenerational collaboration spanning on-premises, cloud, and AI infrastructure. Meta will integrate Nvidia CPUs, Blackwell and Rubin GPUs, and Spectrum-X Ethernet switches into its hyperscale data centers, supporting large-scale AI training and inference workloads. The deal also includes first large-scale Grace CPU deployments and planned Vera CPU rollouts in 2027.

2. Complete Exit from Arm Holdings Stake

Nvidia sold its remaining 1.1 million Arm shares, generating approximately $140 million in proceeds and reducing its stake to zero. The sale marks the end of Nvidia’s financial involvement in the chip designer and aims to streamline its investment portfolio ahead of continued focus on AI hardware development.
