NVDA•Nvidia settled a trademark lawsuit brought by Modulus Financial Engineering over its “Modulus” AI software, according to a court filing. The companies asked to pause the case while they finalize their agreement.
The companies told a federal court in Austin that they had resolved their dispute and asked to pause the case while they finalize their agreement. Modulus Financial filed the lawsuit in 2024, alleging Nvidia’s software could confuse consumers; Nvidia denied the allegations and said it renamed the software Nvidia PhysicsNeMo in 2025. The case had been scheduled for trial next month.
