Nvidia shares rise 2% on new PC chips and Vera Rubin ramp

1. Nvidia unveils first PC processors
Nvidia introduced its inaugural line of PC processors designed to compete directly with Intel and AMD. This strategic move marks Nvidia’s entry into the consumer CPU market, aiming to leverage its graphics expertise to drive incremental revenue and diversify its product portfolio.
2. Vera Rubin GPU enters full production
The Vera Rubin GPU platform has moved into full-volume production, with 150 Taiwan-based suppliers enlisted to support the ramp. This expansion is set to boost Nvidia’s capacity for high-performance AI compute, addressing growing demand from data centers and cloud providers.
3. $2B Nebius investment strengthens AI ecosystem
In March, Nvidia committed $2 billion to Nebius, reinforcing partnerships in AI cloud infrastructure. This investment aligns with Nvidia’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in cloud capacity and support emerging neocloud providers.
