Nvidia to Supply 170,000 GPUs for $30B Firmus AI Cloud Deal

The agreement projects up to $30 billion in six-year revenue for Firmus and grants smaller AI developers lower-cost access to Nvidia-powered cloud services.

Firmus Technologies has entered a strategic agreement to purchase Nvidia infrastructure and resell Nvidia-powered cloud services. Nvidia will earn both hardware sales revenue and a percentage of ongoing cloud service fees under the arrangement.
2. GPU Deployment Schedule
The deal calls for delivery of 170,000 Nvidia GPUs between the first quarter of 2027 and early 2028. All units will be housed in a new facility in Batam, Indonesia, to support regional AI development.

Firmus projects up to $30 billion in revenue over the first six years based on customer commitments. Nvidia’s prior investment in Firmus and participation in its capital raisings align the chipmaker’s growth with Firmus’s cloud-service expansion.

The partnership is designed to lower infrastructure costs for smaller and emerging AI developers, leveling the playing field against larger competitors. Firmus has also initiated preparations with investment banks for a potential initial public offering later this year.
