Nvidia will supply 170,000 GPUs to Firmus Technologies in Indonesia between early 2027 and early 2028 under a cloud-services partnership that could yield up to $30 billion in revenue for Nvidia over six years. Nvidia’s existing equity stake in Firmus underscores its strategic push into AI cloud infrastructure.
Nvidia and Firmus Technologies have entered a strategic agreement under which Nvidia will deliver 170,000 graphics processing units to Firmus cloud locations in Batam, Indonesia, from the first quarter of 2027 through early 2028. The GPUs will power Nvidia-enabled cloud services aimed at emerging AI firms and other customers.
The arrangement grants Nvidia product revenue from GPU sales plus a share of the cloud services revenue generated by Firmus, with total Nvidia revenue projected to reach up to $30 billion in the first six years of the partnership. This predictable revenue stream enhances Nvidia’s long-term financial visibility in AI infrastructure.
By deepening its presence in the Asia-Pacific cloud market, Nvidia reinforces its strategic focus on AI-native customers and smaller AI developers, leveling the playing field against hyperscale providers. Nvidia’s prior equity investments in Firmus signal confidence in the partner’s growth and the broader AI cloud adoption trend.
