Ineffable Intelligence closed a $1.1 billion seed round at a $5.1 billion valuation, making it the largest seed raise in European history. The financing was co-led by Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Index Ventures, DST Global and other investors.

Nvidia’s venture arm committed at least $250 million to the round, becoming one of the largest single investors. This strategic stake deepens Nvidia’s involvement in next-generation reinforcement-learning technologies.
3. Mission and Leadership
Founded November 2025 by former DeepMind researcher David Silver, the startup aims to build a ‘superlearner’ AI that acquires knowledge autonomously through reinforcement learning. Silver’s leadership team also includes ex-DeepMind engineers Wojciech Czarnecki, Lasse Espeholt and Junhyuk Oh.
