Nvidia unveiled RTX Spark, a system-level superchip designed for Windows laptops and desktops that combines CPU and GPU functions into a single unit. The chip delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI inferencing performance, supports 128GB unified memory and targets gaming, content creation and AI workloads in slim form-factor devices.

Following the announcement, Nvidia shares climbed roughly 4% as investors reacted positively to the strategic expansion into full-system chips.
