NXP secured a deployment deal with BMW Group to supply Trimension NCJ29D6 ultra-wideband chips for selected 2026 vehicle programs.

BMW will use the platform for Digital Key Plus hands-free access and in-cabin presence detection, using one UWB system across multiple functions.
