1. Q4 2025 EPS Beats Consensus
NXP Semiconductors reported fourth-quarter 2025 adjusted earnings of $3.35 per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.30 and improving 5% year-over-year from $3.18 in Q4 2024. Management attributed the outperformance to strong automotive microcontroller and secure connectivity sales, which together represented roughly 55% of semiconductor revenues, and robust contribution from industrial edge processing products. CFO Bill Betz noted that gross margin expanded by approximately 120 basis points sequentially, driven by better fab utilization and favorable product mix, while operating expenses remained flat on a dollars-spent basis.
