Obsidian Energy Q2 2026 funds flow rises on higher realized oil prices, company says

Obsidian Energy said in Q2 2026 production revenues rose to CAD 197.7 million from CAD 136.3 million, while net income increased to CAD 42 million from CAD 15.3 million.
Higher realized oil prices lifted results, though realized risk management losses widened and weighed on cash metrics despite stronger pricing.
Cash flow from operating activities fell to CAD 38.2 million from CAD 55.2 million, reflecting prepaid equity forward contract purchases.
Adjusted funds flow from operations increased to CAD 73.6 million from CAD 63.2 million, and free cash flow rose to CAD 33.2 million from CAD 19 million.
Net debt climbed to CAD 353.6 million from CAD 240.1 million at year-end, driven by the CAD 98 million Belly River acquisition, buybacks and equity forwards.
