
Ocean Power Technologies conducted maritime drone handovers and customer training in Italy and Greece, facilitating deployment of its autonomous maritime systems by international clients. Over the past weeks, the company completed customer training sessions and handed over its maritime drones to clients in Italy and Greece, enabling immediate deployment of autonomous surface vessels and offshore power solutions for security operations.
OPT joined the 11th National Maritime Security Forum in Warsaw, where its general manager for the Arabian Gulf, Nicholas Woodhams, engaged with military and industry leaders on critical infrastructure protection and Baltic Sea security strategies.
During the forum, former head of Poland’s National Security Bureau, Jacek Siewiera, formally acknowledged OPT’s contributions to planning and safeguarding maritime infrastructure, underscoring the company's growing role in European defense collaborations.
