Ocean Power Technologies names Tracy Pagliara acting CEO as Philipp Stratmann steps down

New acting CEO and operating changes

Tracy Pagliara was named acting CEO, president and board member. She previously served six years as CEO of a public company and is a CPA.

Jason Weed was appointed COO with responsibility for commercial sales, operations, technology and innovation. He previously served as senior vice president of commercial sales and is a former U.S. Navy captain.

Leadership reshuffle effective Sept. 14, 2026

Ocean Power Technologies reshuffled leadership effective Sept. 14, 2026 to accelerate commercial execution, backlog conversion and customer delivery.

Philipp Stratmann stepped down as president, CEO and board member, and will support a transition period.
