Oceania Cruises to Unveil 500-Guest Aurelia in Late 2027 with Upsized Suites
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ Oceania unit will debut Oceania Aurelia in late 2027, accommodating under 500 guests with 238 cabins (179 suites up to 1,000 sq ft) and 400 crew, refurbished from Oceania Nautica under OceaniaNEXT program. This vessel will lead 2028-29 Around the World voyages and expanded Grand Voyages.
1. Debut Details and Capacity
Oceania Aurelia, the former Oceania Nautica, is set to enter service in late 2027 as part of the OceaniaNEXT modernization initiative. The vessel will host fewer than 500 guests served by 400 officers and crew, marking a shift toward intimate, residential-style luxury travel within Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ portfolio.
2. Accommodation and Onboard Experience
Of the ship's 238 accommodations, 179 are suites ranging from 300 to 1,000 square feet, each with dedicated butler service and spacious living and dining areas. Guests will enjoy seven dining venues reflecting global cuisines, a new Bakery, Crêperie and Founders Bar, plus enrichment facilities such as a Chef's Studio, Artist Loft, LYNC Digital Center and unlimited Aquamar Spa Terrace access.
3. Voyages and Itineraries
Oceania Aurelia will spearhead the cruise line’s extended global offerings, including the 2028 and 2029 Around the World voyages and a slate of expansive Grand Voyages. Its design prioritizes long-range exploration, fostering a club-like community atmosphere for immersive port experiences.
