Oculis to present Phase 2 Privosegtor biomarker data in optic neuritis
OCS•Oculis will present new Phase 2 ACUITY biomarker analyses of Privosegtor in optic neuritis on October 22, 2026, at ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS in Toronto.
1. Biomarker analyses
The analyses evaluate blood markers of nerve injury and inflammation to assess Privosegtor’s potential neuroprotective effects. Privosegtor received FDA Breakthrough Therapy and European Medicines Agency PRIME designations following the successful Phase 2 trial.
2. Trial and development plans
PIONEER-1, the first of two registrational trials in optic neuritis, is enrolling patients with or without multiple sclerosis. Oculis plans to submit an investigational new drug application for Privosegtor in acute multiple sclerosis relapses.
