BKR•Baker Hughes beats second-quarter profit estimates
July 26 (Reuters) - Baker Hughes BKR.O surpassed Wall Street expectations for second-quarter profit on Sunday, as strength in its industrial and energy technology unit offset lower drilling activity caused by disruptions in the Middle East.
The U.S. oilfield services provider posted an adjusted profit of 64 cents per share for the quarter ended June 30, compared with analysts' expectations of 50 cents per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
