Okta Launches AI Agent Security Platform with Instant Revocation Across 8,200+ Integrations

Okta unveiled a blueprint for securing AI agents and will launch Okta for AI Agents in late April 2026, offering discovery and registration of agents, standardized access controls and instant revocation. Eighty-eight percent of organizations report AI agent security incidents, yet only 22% treat agents as independent identities.

Okta introduced a new security blueprint addressing AI agents' lifecycle, focusing on identification, access management and risk mitigation. The framework defines where agents operate, their connection points and permissible actions within enterprise environments.

2. Platform Launch Details

Scheduled for late April 2026, Okta for AI Agents will offer automated discovery and registration of AI agents, standardized access controls and immediate access revocation. The platform integrates with agent platforms such as Boomi, DataRobot and Google Vertex AI.

Okta research revealed that 88% of organizations have experienced suspected or confirmed AI agent security incidents, while only 22% treat agents as independent, identity-bearing entities. These findings underscore the growing security gap in agentic enterprise deployments.

4. Integration Ecosystem

At launch, the platform will support connections to over 8,200 existing integrations across Okta’s catalog, enabling rapid deployment and broader coverage of AI toolchains in customer environments.
