Okta has introduced a comprehensive blueprint designed to help enterprises become “agentic,” providing tools to scan IT environments for AI agents, map their network connections and enforce security policies across SaaS deployments. This blueprint outlines steps for identifying all deployed agents, assessing their permissions and interactions, and establishing guardrails to prevent unauthorized data access.

2. Personal Agent Offering and Vendor Ecosystem

The company showcased its personal agent solution, offering customizable AI assistants for individual employees. Okta detailed how its platform integrates agents from multiple vendors, enabling organizations to consolidate agent management, monitor activity streams and ensure interoperability within existing identity and access frameworks.

3. Outlook on AI Agents Market Growth

Okta’s CEO emphasized that AI agents represent a major market expansion rather than a replacement for traditional SaaS, predicting widespread adoption of “digital workers” built on these technologies. He highlighted opportunities for vendors to innovate at every software layer and for customers to choose whether to build, buy or integrate new agent capabilities into their enterprise workflows.
