OKYO•FY26 loss widens as operating expenses rise
OKYO Pharma posted a net loss of USD 8.95 million, widening from USD 4.71 million a year earlier.
Total operating expenses rose to USD 8.5 million from USD 7.09 million, as general and administrative costs climbed 38.3% to USD 6.69 million.
Research and development spending fell 19.7% to USD 1.81 million, due to the settlement of patent invoices for Bam8 and Chemerin.
Cash use increases, liquidity remains above $20 million
Net cash used in operating activities increased to USD 5.94 million from USD 1.81 million, while cash and cash equivalents plus short-term investments totaled USD 20.59 million.
