Shares fall after leadership transition announcement
Shares of sales and marketing firm Omnicom fell more than 4% to $77.81 after the company announced a leadership transition at Omnicom Advertising.
The company said Troy Ruhanen is retiring as president and CEO of Omnicom Advertising. Andrew Robertson, currently chairman of BBDO Worldwide, was appointed CEO of Omnicom Advertising effective immediately.
Ruhanen's decision follows the successful integration of Omnicom Advertising after the Omnicom–Interpublic combination.
