Omnicom Taps Bridges to Lead 4,000-Strong Credera AI Transformation, Spins Off Jack Morton
Omnicom named Jantzen Bridges global president of its 4,000-strong Credera consultancy to spearhead AI-enabled transformation programs. The company will spin off Jack Morton in a private equity deal following its multi-million-dollar IPG takeover and faces FTC restrictions over news ratings contracts linked to its merger.
1. Leadership Appointment at Credera
On January 29, Omnicom appointed Jantzen Bridges, who brings over 20 years of experience from Accenture and EY, as Global President of its Credera consultancy. Bridges will lead AI-enabled transformation programs aimed at redesigning client data platforms and technology strategies.
2. Jack Morton Spinoff Details
On January 21, Omnicom announced the planned spinoff of its experimental marketing agency Jack Morton through a private equity transaction. The move, following a multi-million-dollar takeover of IPG assets, will make Jack Morton an independent entity.
3. FTC Contracting Restrictions Lawsuit
NewsGuard has sued the FTC over conditions that bar Omnicom from contracting with news ratings services as a merger requirement. The legal challenge argues these restrictions exceed trade regulation and have deterred other clients from engaging with Omnicom.
