Onconetix’s Realbotix Launches AI Assistant and Humanoid Robot Pilot for 500 Students
ONCO•Onconetix’s Realbotix is deploying Optio, its AI teacher’s assistant, and an M-Series humanoid robot in Salamanca Central School District’s pilot for 500 students in Fall 2026. The initiative supports Woz ED AI and Robotics courses and underscores Onconetix’s planned all-stock acquisition of Realbotix LLC set to close in H2 2026.
1. Pilot Program Deployment
Salamanca Central School District on the Seneca Nation Reservation will deploy Realbotix’s AI assistant Optio and its M-Series humanoid robot to about 500 students starting Fall 2026. The program targets Woz ED AI and Robotics courses to provide interactive classroom engagement and at-home tutoring support.
2. Optio and Humanoid Robot Features
Optio offers personalized avatars trained in district curriculum for concept reinforcement, individual tutoring and 24/7 homework assistance across multiple languages with education-specific safety guardrails and support for neurodiverse learners. The M-Series robot delivers natural conversation, facial expressions and real-time interaction to create hands-on learning experiences.
3. Acquisition Details and Timeline
Onconetix entered a definitive share exchange agreement to acquire 100% of Realbotix LLC in an all-stock transaction pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. The combined entity is expected to list on Nasdaq after closing, anticipated in the second half of 2026.
