Ondas and HD Advanced Technologies have inaugurated ONBERG Autonomous Systems, a joint venture operating from Heidelberg’s Brandenburg facility to produce and integrate AI-driven drone defense systems. Initial operations target Germany and Ukraine, with plans to expand sales, manufacturing and deployment across Europe.
1. Joint Venture Launch
Ondas and HD Advanced Technologies have officially launched ONBERG Autonomous Systems, establishing a 50/50 joint venture to develop, integrate and manufacture autonomous drone defense systems from the Brandenburg an der Havel facility in Germany.
2. European Hub Operations
The new facility serves as a one-stop European hub for critical infrastructure protection, combining system integration, industrial-scale manufacturing and local supply chains to accelerate delivery across the continent.
3. Integrated Defense Technology
ONBERG’s solutions leverage AI-driven detection, autonomous interception platforms and a multi-layered defense architecture designed for continuous operation, rapid deployment and seamless integration with existing security frameworks.
4. Strategic Expansion Plans
Initially focusing on Germany and Ukraine, the venture plans to scale sales, production and deployment across Europe and international markets, supporting technological sovereignty and Ondas’ broader Defense 2.0 strategy.
