OpenAI said in its filing that X's apparent deal with Apple could undermine any effort by X to seek a monetary payment from OpenAI.

Apple and OpenAI each have denied any wrongdoing in the lawsuit. Apple previously said its deal with OpenAI was not exclusive.
In a ruling on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman in Fort Worth said X must file with the court by Thursday “any agreement or combination of agreements with Apple that relate to the resolution of Plaintiffs’ claims against Apple in this litigation.”
X this week resolved its lawsuit against Apple without revealing the terms and said it would continue pursuing claims against OpenAI in the case. The lawsuit, filed last year, claimed Apple violated antitrust law by exclusively integrating OpenAI's ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence features on iPhones and other Apple devices.
In a filing on Tuesday, OpenAI’s lawyers at law firm Wachtell asked Pittman to order the disclosure of any settlement agreement. OpenAI said it wants to see the terms to help rebut Musk’s pending claims against the company.
