Since its September 2023 launch, MiniPay has amassed more than 14 million account registrations and processed over 420 million transactions on Celo’s Layer 2 network, which supports 700,000+ daily active USD₮ users and 4.23 million weekly active users.
3. User Rewards Fuel Wallet Growth
Over 50 million Opera browser users who have earned in-browser rewards will be able to redeem them as USD₮ in MiniPay, creating a significant near-term growth catalyst for stablecoin wallet adoption.
4. Strategic Partnership Expansion
Opera and Celo will conduct a roadshow in Latin America and Southeast Asia, starting in Vietnam and the Philippines next month, to drive grassroots adoption and expand the Mini App ecosystem in emerging markets.
