Oportun appoints Scott Scheirman to board, names him audit and risk committee chair

Oportun named Scott Scheirman to its board as an independent director, effective Aug. 11, 2026.
Scheirman will chair the Audit & Risk Committee. He will join the Compensation & Leadership Committee.
He last served as CEO of CPI Card Group from October 2017 until retiring in January 2024.
Earlier roles include CFO at Western Union. He also held finance leadership posts at First Data.
