Oracle unveiled enhancements to its Aconex platform including integrated document process capabilities and automated Review Matrix workflows to streamline project reviews, ensure traceability, and maintain audit trails. The upgrade also adds structured Inspection and Test Plan workflows, offering full visibility, role assignments, and exportable audit-ready records for capital-project quality management.
1. Integrated Document Process Enhancements
Oracle’s Aconex platform now features integrated document process capabilities, enabling fully connected comment management for drawings, models, and documents. All reviews and resolutions remain linked in a centralized document register with an unalterable audit trail to strengthen compliance and reduce administrative errors.
2. Automated Review Matrix and Observation Capability
The new automated Review Matrix routes deliverables based on document metadata, enforces pre-agreed approval sequences, and tracks review progress across organizations. A recently introduced Observation feature standardizes safety data collection and integrates predictive model outputs for enhanced field risk mitigation.
3. Structured ITP Workflows for Quality Management
Aconex’s structured Test Plans offer a full lifecycle ITP workflow with role assignments, status visibility, and action notifications. Onsite teams can capture evidence, develop audit-ready records, and generate exportable packages, improving accountability and quality assurance on capital projects.
