Oracle Cloud Cuts EHR Page Loads 71% for Ontario Hospitals, Pilots AI Agent

ORCLORCL

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure migration reduced average EHR page load times by 71% and login response by 46% across five Ontario hospitals and now pilots Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent generating draft notes in near real-time. TSSO’s network expects full AI rollout in 2026 following improved data security and scalability.

1. OCI Migration Benefits for TSSO

Transform Shared Service Organization (TSSO) migrated its Oracle Health Foundation electronic health record to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to enhance system resilience, data security and operational agility across five hospitals in Ontario’s Erie St. Clair region.

2. Measurable Performance Improvements

Following the migration, average page load times fell from 5.9 to 1.68 seconds (71% faster) and login response dropped from 2.27 to 1.23 seconds (46% faster), enabling clinicians to access patient data more quickly and focus on care delivery.

3. Clinical AI Agent Pilot Deployment

TSSO has launched a pilot of Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent that auto-generates narrative-rich draft notes in near real-time; physicians review and validate these drafts, and full deployment is planned for more clinicians throughout 2026.
