Oracle Secures TikTok US Cloud Deal as Europe Embraces OCI AI

ORCLORCL

Oracle will host TikTok US joint venture’s data and recommendation algorithm in its U.S. cloud environment as a managing investor with a 15% stake. An ISG report finds European enterprises adopting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for AI workloads, valuing its database leadership, multicloud integration and built-in AI agents.

1. Oracle Share Plunge Triggers Investor Reassessment

Oracle shares have lost nearly half their peak value since October of last year, slashing the company’s market capitalization from roughly nine hundred thirty-five billion dollars to around five hundred eleven billion dollars. This represents a forty- to fifty-percent decline that leaves Oracle trading at its lowest levels since June of last year. Analysts attribute the slide to slower-than-expected cloud infrastructure growth and heightened competition from rivals in artificial intelligence services. Institutional investors, including several large mutual funds and hedge funds, have trimmed Oracle exposure, with weekly flows into weak hands accelerating over the past month. Market strategists now debate whether the weakened share price offers an attractive entry point or reflects a structural slowdown in Oracle’s high-margin software licensing business.

2. Oracle Commodity Holding Launches $100,000 Private Placement

Oracle Commodity Holding Corp., listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and OTCQB, announced a non-brokered private placement to raise up to one hundred thousand dollars by issuing up to two million units at five cents each. Each unit comprises one common share and one warrant exercisable at six cents for three years. Insider participation includes a director subscribing for up to one million units, accounting for fifty thousand dollars, structured as a related-party transaction under Canadian Multilateral Instrument 61-101. The company plans to use net proceeds for general corporate purposes and may pay finder’s units under similar terms. Closing is subject to TSXV approval and customary conditions, with a four-month hold period on new securities. Oracle Commodity Holding holds royalties on precious metal and critical mineral mining projects and will file a material change report in respect of the insider participation.
