Origin Agritech unit sells 70.52% stake in Xinjiang Originbo for RMB 108 million
SEED•Origin Agritech subsidiary Beijing Origin Agriculture agreed to sell its 70.5184% stake in Xinjiang Originbo to Hunan Xindaxin for RMB 108 million, payable in four installments through June 30, 2027.
1. Stake sale terms
Beijing Origin Agriculture agreed to sell its 70.5184% stake in Xinjiang Originbo to Hunan Xindaxin for RMB 108 million. The price is payable in four installments through June 30, 2027, with RMB 11.39 million offset against the first payment.
2. Control and operations
Control transfers immediately through management appointments and custody of company seals, while legal title transfers only after full payment. Origin Agritech plans to deconsolidate Xinjiang Originbo once control transfers and derecognize its assets and liabilities. Beijing Origin Agriculture will lease back the Xinjiang seed production base for five years starting Oct. 1, 2026, at annual rent of RMB 4 million.
