Fiscal Q1 results improve on higher revenue and margins
Orion Energy Systems posted fiscal Q1 net income of $2 million, returning to profit from a year-earlier loss; diluted EPS was $0.47.
Revenue rose 32% year over year to $25.7 million; gross margin widened 4.5 percentage points to 34.6%.
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) climbed to $2.5 million, marking a seventh straight quarter of positive results; operating expenses edged down to $6.8 million.
