Oshkosh Defense partners with Grid Aero to produce autonomous aircraft
OSK•Oshkosh Defense partnered with Grid Aero to produce Grid Aero’s Lifter autonomous logistics aircraft for U.S. defense customers, using Wisconsin manufacturing capacity. Initial work will focus on production engineering, manufacturing design and customer engagement, with demonstrations of production-ready aircraft as a target.

Oshkosh Defense and Grid Aero will work to bring autonomous logistics aircraft into production for U.S. defense customers. The partnership will use Wisconsin manufacturing capacity to build Grid Aero’s Lifter aircraft at scale, with initial work focused on production engineering, manufacturing design and customer engagement.
