On February 9, 2026, Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Osisko Development, entered into a definitive project and construction management services agreement with JDS Energy & Mining Inc. for the Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia. The agreement covers planning, execution and oversight of development activities as Osisko advances toward production readiness.
2. JDS Expertise and Role
JDS Energy & Mining brings two decades of Western Canada mining services experience, having executed major projects like the Minto, Gahcho Kue and Silvertip mines. Under the agreement, JDS will provide fit-for-purpose solutions, adherence to budget and schedule targets, and safety protocols from concept through operations.
