OTC Markets’ OTCQX Platform Records $60B Volume, Onboards 1.65M-sq-ft Cannara Biotech

In 2025 OTC Markets Group’s OTCQX platform supported $60 billion in U.S. trading volume across its Best 50 companies delivering a median total return of 81%. On January 14 OTC Markets added Cannara Biotech to OTCQX, welcoming a cannabis producer with 1.65 million sq ft cultivation capacity.

1. OTC Markets Group Announces 2026 OTCQX Best 50

OTC Markets Group Inc. today unveiled its 2026 OTCQX Best 50, highlighting the top‐performing companies on its OTCQX Best Market during calendar 2025. These fifty issuers collectively generated over $60 billion in U.S. trading dollar volume and delivered a median total return of 81 percent for investors. Market capitalizations of the Best 50 ranged from $146 million to $289 billion, underscoring OTCQX’s capacity to support entities at every stage of growth. Global blue-chips such as Deutsche Telekom, Roche, AXA, BNP Paribas, Fortescue Metals Group and Nordea Bank joined North American producers like Ucore Rare Metals, Discovery Silver and Lundin Gold on the list. Companies represented sectors including energy transition, critical minerals supply, financial services, healthcare innovation and industrial infrastructure. To qualify, issuers must trade at least $50 million annually, maintain a closing share price above $0.25 and be constituents of the OTCQX Composite Index.

2. OTC Markets Group Welcomes Cannara Biotech Inc. to OTCQX

OTC Markets Group has approved the graduation of Cannara Biotech Inc. from the OTCQB Venture Market to the OTCQX Best Market, effective January 14, 2026. Cannara Biotech, a vertically integrated cannabis producer with two Québec facilities totaling 1.65 million square feet and 100,000 kg of potential annual cultivation capacity, will begin trading under the symbol "LOVFF." The approval reflects Cannara’s sustained revenue growth, improving margins and scalable operations, and provides enhanced visibility with U.S. investors. To list on OTCQX, Cannara met high financial standards, adhered to best‐practice corporate governance and demonstrated compliance with applicable securities laws, joining more than 12,000 U.S. and international securities on OTC Markets Group’s regulated trading platforms.
