The company reported its seventh consecutive quarter of US new-equipment orders growth over 25% and a 35% increase in modernization and refurbishment orders this quarter.
1. New Robust Elevator Line for Data Centers
Otis introduced a specialized heavy-industrial elevator in its Robust line designed to handle critical infrastructure demands in multistory data centers and chip manufacturing facilities. The model features extra vibration-shock resistance, wide door openings, seamless integration with backup power systems and 24/7 availability to support server rack movement and continuous operations.
2. Strong US Order Growth and Refurbishment Demand
The company achieved its seventh straight quarter of over 25% growth in US new-equipment orders, driven by construction and reshoring in data centers, manufacturing sites, residential buildings, hospitals, stadiums and airports. Modernization and refurbishment orders surged 35% this quarter as aging installations from the past two to three decades require updates to meet current performance and safety standards.
