Over half of employers pilot or use AI in benefits, Define Ventures and Aon survey finds

Define Ventures published a report with Aon based on a survey of 67 HR and benefits decision-makers. Just over half of employers said they are piloting AI or using it through existing partners, while 70% said evaluating AI-enabled benefits is a medium or high priority.
2. Uses and concerns
Employers reported using AI for employee support, benefits recommendations, analytics and HR workflow support. Privacy, accuracy and AI washing—labeling basic automation as AI—were identified as key concerns; 78% reported moderate-to-high capacity to manage AI-related change.
