Occidental’s Q2 2026 earnings-call transcript showed CEO Richard Jackson, CFO Sunil Mathew, SVP Ken Dillon, and IR head Babatunde Cole fielding analyst questions.
Longer-term cash flow and capital plans
Management outlined a plan to add more than $4 billion of annual “sustainable cash flow” by 2030 versus 2025, with about 85% achievable at lower prices.
Mathew flagged about $700 million-$800 million of sustainable cash flow improvement in 2027 versus 2026; interest savings versus 2025 pegged at about $740 million.
Buybacks to stay opportunistic until the preferred redemption in August 2029; 2027 capital starting point $5.9 billion, implying flat production versus 2026.
