Palo Alto Networks launches Frontier AI Critical Defense Program to deploy network-level virtual patches for critical infrastructure

Palo Alto Networks said it plans to expand joint work with AI model providers, OT vendors, risk-sharing groups, research bodies, and open-source initiatives to coordinate proactive defenses.

Frontier Virtual Patching is intended to deliver rapid network-layer protections while limiting exposure of sensitive vulnerability details to potential attackers.
