Pampa Energia says Economy Ministry approves RIGI status for USD 4.52 billion Vaca Muerta RDA project

Total investment is estimated at USD 4.52 billion, with execution scheduled through 2041.
The plan includes:
- 259 horizontal wells
- a 45,000 bbl/d crude treatment plant
- 800,000 m3/d gas capacity
- pipeline buildout
All crude output is slated for export, with lifetime export revenues projected at about USD 17 billion.
Economy Ministry approves RIGI status for RDA project
Pampa Energia says the Economy Ministry has granted clearance for RIGI incentives for its RDA shale project in Vaca Muerta, describing it as a long-term strategic export venture.
The project targets development of the Rincón de Aranda block; existing wells are excluded, with RIGI benefits limited to new wells drilled after the filing.
