1. Broker Sees FTSE 100 Potential for Genus

Panmure Liberum has raised its medium-term outlook for Genus, forecasting that the animal genetics group could join the FTSE 100 by 2030. In a detailed research note, the broker highlighted that trading conditions in the PIC pork division have remained stronger for longer than anticipated, with volumes in China up 12% year-on-year in the first half of the 2026 financial year and Latin America sales up 9%. Building on this momentum, Deutsche Bank has boosted its target for Genus shares to 3,300p from 3,100p while maintaining a buy recommendation, pointing to sustained demand for high-health genetics and improving margin contributions in North America where feed-conversion improvements have lifted segment operating profit by 15% over the same period.

2. Genius Group Launches Future School in Bali

Genius Group Limited has officially launched its first Model Future School at ProEd Global School in Bali following the November acquisition of a 51% stake in the institution. The program integrates the company’s AI-powered curriculum and Genius Apprentice program across primary, middle and secondary levels, targeting the eight Future Skills identified in the World Economic Forum’s 2020 White Paper. The school’s curriculum, currently accredited by Cambridge and being prepared for International Baccalaureate recognition, embeds global citizenship, innovation, technology, interpersonal and problem-based learning, with personalized pathways driven by AI toolkits for self-awareness and mastery.
