Paramount Skydance Secures Multi-Year First-Look Pact with Warner Music Group

Paramount Skydance struck a multi-year, first-look deal with Warner Music Group and Unigram to develop theatrical films based on WMG’s artist catalog, with projects overseen by Amanda Ghost and Gregor Cameron. CFO Dennis Cinelli will present at the MoffettNathanson conference on May 13 to outline PSKY’s strategic priorities.

1. Multi-Year First-Look Agreement

Paramount Skydance has entered a multi-year, first-look partnership with Warner Music Group and its production partner Unigram to co-develop feature films inspired by the lives and music of WMG’s legendary and contemporary artists. The agreement grants Paramount exclusive access to WMG’s catalog and estates, positioning PSKY to expand its theatrical slate with music-driven content.

2. Production Leadership and Collaboration

Unigram, led by Amanda Ghost and Gregor Cameron, will collaborate with Paramount on script development, talent engagement and estate approvals for each project. Warner Music Group’s CEO Robert Kyncl described the deal as a fresh approach to film storytelling, while Paramount co-chairs Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg highlighted the potential to create generation-defining theatrical experiences.

3. Upcoming CFO Presentation

PSKY’s Chief Financial Officer Dennis Cinelli is scheduled to speak at the MoffettNathanson Media, Internet & Communications Conference on May 13 at 1:30 p.m. ET. An audio webcast of his presentation will be available on PSKY’s investors site, where Cinelli is expected to discuss the company’s Studios and Direct-to-Consumer segment priorities.
