Parsons-led venture wins Riyadh Metro Red Line Extension management contract
PSN•A Parsons-led joint venture was selected in March 2026 to provide project and construction management services for the Riyadh Metro Red Line Extension. The 8.4-kilometer extension will have five stations and connect King Saud University with Diriyah South.
1. Contract award
Riyadh Metro Transit Consultants, a joint venture partnering with Systra and Egis, will serve the Royal Commission for Riyadh City under a multi-year project. The award represents new work for Parsons.
2. Extension details
The 8.4-kilometer route will connect King Saud University with Diriyah South and include five stations. It will have 1.3 kilometers of elevated track and 7.1 kilometers underground, with two elevated stations and three underground.
