Partners Group plans to split Global Value SICAV into two sub-portfolios
Partners Group plans to reorganize its Global Value SICAV private equity evergreen strategy into an umbrella fund with two sub-portfolios. The fund’s latest NAV is EUR 6.6 billion, and the strategy has returned 4.5x invested capital since inception.
1. Proposed fund structure
The planned structure would target long-term compounding in one portfolio and cash distributions from realizations in the other, using different vintage pools. Existing investors could keep their current exposure, switch from the distributing portfolio to the compounding portfolio, or redeem in either portfolio. New subscriptions would be limited to the compounding portfolio, and the change requires shareholder approval.
