Peabody Energy sets consulting fee at $89,773 a month for COO Darren Yeates

Peabody Energy entered a consulting services agreement with COO Darren R. Yeates on Aug. 27, 2026.

• The consulting term runs from Feb. 1, 2027 through Jan. 31, 2028.
• The monthly fee is set at $89,773 for up to 40 hours of services per month.
• Additional work will be paid at $2,244 per hour for time above 40 hours in a month.
• Termination without cause, death, or disability triggers remaining fees through Jan. 31, 2028, subject to a release.
