Pearson partners with Illinois Tech on workforce-focused credentials and employability pathways

Pearson entered a partnership with Illinois Institute of Technology to develop employability pathways, industry-aligned credentials, and AI-enabled workforce solutions.

The collaboration targets curriculum development, workforce credentialing, stackable certificates, micro-credentials, executive education, and employer-aligned learning experiences.

Initial focus includes AI learning opportunities, healthcare education, nursing, medical imaging, and allied health programs.

The parties will also assess dual enrollment and dual credit options for high school students, along with broader lifelong learning programs.

The work will evaluate expansion opportunities across the US and select international markets.
