PepGen Q2 net loss narrows as expenses fall
PEPG•FREEDOM2-DM1 study advances
PepGen said it has fully enrolled the 10 mg/kg FREEDOM2-DM1 cohort and expects data from that group in November.
The company also said it expects results from the 12.5 mg/kg FREEDOM2-DM1 cohort in 1H 2027. PepGen cited clinical progress, including the enrollment update and a DSMB dose escalation recommendation, as a key focus.
Cash runway extended into 2027
PepGen ended the quarter with $117.2 million in cash and said that amount is sufficient to fund operations into Q4 2027.
Q2 loss narrows as expenses fall
PepGen said its second-quarter net loss narrowed year over year as operating expenses declined.
The biotechnology company reported a Q2 net loss of $17.81 million, or $0.26 per share, with operating expenses of $18.94 million. General and administrative expenses increased year over year, but lower research and development spending helped reduce the overall loss.
