PepsiCo says 68% of beverage volume meets 2025 added-sugar calorie target in latest ESG update

PepsiCo said its latest ESG update showed progress on nutrition targets that reshaped product mix across beverages and convenient foods.
The company said 68% of beverage volume met its 2025 goal of no more than 100 calories from added sugars per 12-oz serving.

PepsiCo said 79% of convenient foods volume met sodium targets, above the 75% 2025 goal; 79% also met saturated fat targets.
The company said plastic use totaled 2 million metric tons in key packaging markets; virgin plastic fell 6% from 2024; recycled content reached 18%.
PepsiCo also said water stewardship hit 100% replenishment at company-owned sites in high water-risk watersheds; projects replenished about 35 billion liters.
